The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) welcomed 619 new soldiers including 133 women or 21% on Friday 1 June 2018.
Out of the soldiers commissioned during the ceremony, 87 were Cadet Officers representing 14%, including 18 women.
Each of the new soldiers completed a 6-month training period at the Armed Forces Training Centre in Benguema.
