President Bio and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio, arrive at Jubilee House Accra on a state visit to Ghana, Mon 22nd Oct. They are received by The President of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akofo-Addo and Ghana’s First Lady, H.E Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
President of Ghana escorted President Bio to his office for a tète-à-tète, while First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo escorted First Lady Fatima Maada Bio to the Presidential villa. The First Ladies had a closed door session at the Presidential Villa. First Lady Fatima Bio is expected to brief her counterpart on the Official Launching her Flagship program which will be held on the 14th -15th December 2018 in Sierra Leone.
First Lady Fatima Maada Bio’s The strategic plan is framed within these objectives:
*Ending Child marriage
*Reducing teenage pregnancy
*Ending sexual based violence
*Preventing child trafficking and prostitution
*Preventing Mother to child transmission of HIV and AIDS
*Sustainable and inclusive advocacy on Cancer and fistula
*Promoting Sexual Reproductive Health

Both Presidents were later escorted from the President’s Office to the Auditorium for bilateral talks. Among other things they talked about building human resource in Africa, and President’s Bio’s Flagship Free Education in Sierra Leone.
