I had the singular honour of introducing the beautiful contestants, representing 16 districts, for this year’s Miss Sierra Leone beauty pageant, to H.E. President Bio.

This pageant is about showcasing the strength, beauty, tenacity and intelligence of the Sierra Leonean woman. This years theme: “Enhancing beauty through the power of education” is appropriate and timely.

Mama Salone is the most beautiful country in the world, I am also proud to say we have the most beautiful ladies. Regardless of who is crowned this Saturday, I can boldly say that every contestant is a Queen.
