Her Excellency, the First lady Fatima Maada Bio on the 21st of Feb. visited the paediatrics department of the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul, together with her host , First Lady of The Gambia, H. E. Fatoumatta Bah Barrow.
The First ladies took a conducted tour of the department and presented gifts to the children.
Madam Bio after the tour expressed admiration for the cleanliness of the paediatrics wards while commending her counterpart, Fatoumatta Bah Barrow, for taking the lead role in the welfare of children and women in The Gambia.
