Welcoming the team to the First Lady, the chairperson, Margaret James introduced the delegation while thanking her Excellency for the audience given to them as fellows of the institution.


Madam James gave a synopsis of the College and its activities during the last two years of her tenure, and mentioned that they are about to conduct their rotational regional meeting which is scheduled to take place in Benin and that they have officially extend an invitation to madam First Lady, while anticipating that she will do them the honors to lead the delegation, as she is a honorary fellow.


Adding to the chairpersonโ€™s remark, past president of the institution Amelia Gabba disclosed how appreciative the Benin team were with regards to the impactful work the First Lady of Sierra Leone has been doing in reaching the whole world with her passionate strides for girls in her country.


Anita Kamara gave a detailed update and key highlights of what has been going on for the past two years, as she congratulates Her Excellency who was inducted as a honorary fellow in 2019, for her exceptional and relentless work that continue to leave lasting impression in the hearts of millions of people in the world.


First Lady welcoming the WACN delegation to her office, expressed her delight to host the team, as she received the letter yesterday and requested to have a meeting with them for further discussion, while she appreciates the work they have been doing since 2019 as an academic institution and pledged her support to honor their invitation.
